Greece's merchant marine fleet fell by 3.1 pct in April this year, compared with the corresponding month in 2011, totaling 2,001 vessels, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Monday.
The statistics service, in a monthly report, said that total capacity of the Greek merchant marine fleet totaled 44,061,430 dwt in April, up 2.4 pct from the same month last year.
